Trump: I be honoured to meet Kim Jong Un

United State President, Donald Trump said he would be “honoured” to meet North Korea leader, Kim Jong Un provided the circumstances were right.


Trump told Bloomberg News on Monday that he will absolutely meet Kim Jong Un if it is appropriate for the meeting to take place. He also added that he would be honored to do so.


He also stressed that he would meet the leader of North Korea under the right circumstances.


Trump said most political figure would never say they want to meet Kim Jong Un but he is willing to under the right circumstances.


In regards to Trump’s comments, White House press secretary, Sean Spicer commented that the conditions are definitely not present currently or a meeting to take place and added that lots of conditions have to be taken by North Korea in term of their behaviour and also as signs of good faith.


Meanwhile, North Korea had claimed that US had deployed a supersonic bomber to the peninsula and conducted a nuclear bombing drill.


The state news agency, KCNA had also condemned the joint military exercises between US and South Korea. North Korea also said they are prepared for any form of war by the US and so are their nuclear.


The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) that is deployed to intercept and destroy both short and medium range missiles is now operational in South Korea.
